How are Practices and Schedules Determined for Football and Cheer
When Do Practices Start?

The head coach selects the practice time/day within the limitations of field availability provided by LISD.  Football and cheer may begin practice first week in August. 10 hours of conditioning are required without pads prior to contact or prior to stunting if in Cheer. Coaches tend to expedite practice schedule the first two weeks to meet this requirement.

Practices Usually start in early August. Dates are typically posted in the Spring/mid summer and emails will be sent out.
