Funding for this program is generated exclusively through registration fees and community fundraising efforts. All players will be given a chance to compete and no positions on any team will be pre-determined. Every player will have an opportunity to develop and showcase their unique talents.
GREAT COACHING
All coaches are required to complete American Youth Football’s training requirements which includes concussion awareness and prevention. Cheer Coaches follow the same rigourous preparation and take the American Youth Cheer training course. We adhere to AYF’s strict governance requirements regarding pre-season conditioning and introduction to contact football and for cheerleading development of our young athletes.
All our Football coaches are trained on the Ranger Offensive and Defensive Systems.Many of our coaches have years of coaching experience at the youth and high school level and many of our coaches have played at the college football level.
Our Cheer Coaches are trained for proper stunting techniques and work with professional consultants as well as the Vista Ridge High School Cheerleaders.

VRYFC IS PART OF THE AMERICAN YOUTH FOOTBALL CEN-TEX FOOTBALL LEAGUE.
American Youth Football, Inc., established in 1996, is an international youth football organization established to promote the wholesome development of youth through their association with adult leaders in the sport of American football. Rules and regulations are established to ensure that players play in an atmosphere of safety with a competitive balance between teams.
AYF is one of the largest membership organizations dedicated to teaching youth through positive role models. Emphasis is on learning, playing, and enjoying the sport while instilling high moral standards by stressing the importance of academic achievement and community involvement. Helping kids become leaders and teammates, AYF players will learn to both foster confidence and a sense of self-worth that extend beyond the gridiron and into the school, family and community. The positive VRYFC experience contributes to the character development of our children as future leaders.
